Shri Niwaas Guest House - Varanasi, Forěigners Choice, Fully Air Conditioned Rooms with Parking Availability on site, Near to Dasashwamedh ghat and Assi Gh

I loved the cozy home vibe that the property had. The beds were comfortable, the washroom was neat and clean, the room was big enough to store our luggage and still have ample space. After a tiring day roaming around the city, I fell asleep in no time. The staff was quite friendly, helpful, and ready to answer on a single call. The property was in a peaceful locality from where all the tourist attractions were very near. The receptionist helped us in renting an electric rickshaw (toto) and we roamed around the city comfortably. I would 100% recommend this property for anyone (families, friends, solo travellers) who wants to stay near every tourist attraction and still be able to afford as its budget friendly as it ll save a lot of time in travelling.

Brand new and spotlessly clean accommodation, and althought it was not centrally located, it was a close distance to the ghats and the location was in a more quiet and safe neighbourhood, which was much needed at the end of the day. There is also a nice rooftop terrace. The team is amazing, friendly and accommodating, willing to help with any request.

It’s a shame there are no windows in some rooms, but the perfect cleaniness of the place was more important.

Arrived late, have been asked to provide all my passport, visa, address in the UK and when I asked about Data Protection some house rules have been called. The rules were in hindi... When I got to my room, surprise: the bed sheets were unchanged, and they were filthy, presenting hair and blood droplets. I called the receptionist and he changed all sheets at around 11.30 p.m. In the toilet/shower room there was urine on the toilet seat and cigarette ashes on the floor. I have presented these issues, and they just apologised, blaming the housekeeping. I also asked for a Tuk-Tuk in the morning, and the price called was between 700-1000 INR. The next day at 7.30, the Tuk-Tuk arrived, but surprisingly, the driver has asked for 100 USD. I simply left the Tuk-Tuk "entrepreneur" talking in the rain, and I started walking. This was a poor experience, and I would not recommend this location to any foreigners.

It’s a new and very clean and comfortable guest house . Very close to Ghat and main market . The host is very welcoming ,kind and helpful
