The Hive, Central Ludlow, Free Parking, Boutique Hotel Style

Excellent location - we parked the car right outside the door and didn't use it for the whole stay. Bijou, quirky cottage which was very clean and comfortable and catered for all our needs. Ideal that the main bedroom was at the back of the house as we were not disturbed by road traffic. Plenty of hot water for baths and showers. Lots to see and do in Ludlow which is steeped in history. Plenty of walks around the town and into Mortimer Forest from the cottage.

A couple of microwaveable dishes in the kitchen would have been useful. Care is needed when in the bathroom as it's very snug and has a deep bath.

Almost everything. All very new and good quality fittings and furnishings. Well equipped. Great communication.

Would have given 10 if the heating was in timers. Didn’t spoil our stay, but was quire cold waiting for the heaters to warm the rooms.

We liked the location in this historic town. We liked the cosy feeling and the 'bee' theme throughout this immaculate property and the welcome goodies left for us, milk, bread, shortbread, sweets. Everything in the Hive worked and was spotlessly clean, from the dishwasher to the fridge, the shower to the toaster. We felt relaxed and at home from the moment we stepped across the threshold.

The owners have given a lot of thought and attention to detail in the refurbishment of the cottage and its amenities. We were able to park outside the cottage and there was bread, milk and biscuits provided on our arrival, which was appreciated after a long journey. We would recommend this accommodation to anyone holidaying in Ludlow.

Be advised for anyone with mobility problems that most accommodation in Ludlow is located on a long gradient hill .

Quirky and cosy, spotlessly clean and well thought out, with everything you could need. Parking permit provided meant we could park just outside the house. Location perfect for exploring the beautiful town of Ludlow.

Central location Ludlow was really good. Property was clean and well maintained. Nice touch leaving milk, biscuits and bread for guests was thoughtful. Parking permit is a good Idea

Bedroom is small and only just wide enough for the double bed (appreciate nothing can be done about the size of the room ). Parking permit is a good Idea but asked for info on where it was valid but didn't get any info from property owner. Spoke to town council and was advised that 'blue' zone was basically the town centre. Small signs by on street parking areas show if blue permits are valid.
