Modern apt near gardens with large decking area - Vivre Retreats

Spacious, clean, many nice touches in decor, good soaps etc, generous with loo roll, bedding etc, lovely bathroom, our small dog was allowed, secure.

Bed springs noisy in single beds

I cannot speak for the accuracy of previous reviews but if the property did previously need a deep clean, it has now had it. The external side entrance, large decking and all rooms in the property were all in excellent order. It was bright and light even on a rainy February weekend and the decking must be a magnificent spot in the summer. The bed and bedding in the main bedroom was of a high quality (I am very particular about pillows and was very happy with the ones here). I didn't make use of the second twin bedroom but that also looked equally nicely furnished. I plan to stay again, as it is particularly convenient for my needs locally and would recommend it to others.

The only points to be aware of are that the parking space is a small space (as listed), suitable only for a small car. Most cars will need to park on the road or on an adjacent road (where parking is readily available) and there is a certain (low level) noise which carries from the floor above, but this is only noticeable if you are yourself in silence. It would not be noticeable if you had your own background noise in place (tv/music/other people).

The cleaning: the floor, carpets, kitchen utensils, cabinets… it all needs a good deep cleaning

a lovely apartment with a patio. great space, quiet neighbourhood. worked out great for us, as travelling with little ones we needed more than a hotel room could offer. will book again next time we’re in Bournemouth. cannot comment on location as we’ve been getting around in a car. but the beach is only a few minutes drives as well the shopping area.

the only tricky thing was the parking. our car is quite long so was sticking out onto the road from the designated parking space.
