Rammal Lodge - Entire home, self catering apartment in Inverness

Location is great and very peaceful. Well thought out accommodation - Kitchen has lovely cooking facilities and nice breakfast bar. Beautiful bedroom with a very comfy bed and good storage. Lovely bathroom with great shower. Lots of nice touches throughout. Comfy lounge with modern tv. Absolutely lovely hosts Calum & Margaret - will definitely be back again.

We had a wonderful 5 night stay in this truly lovely lodge… Calum and Margaret were so welcoming and kind as our hosts and their lodge is really special. Cosy, immaculate, beautiful decor throughout and super comfortable with every facility you could possibly need including a fully equipped kitchenette. Location perfect for exploring Inverness and surrounding areas of the highlands. Absolutely can highly recommend a stay here - it is just perfect in every way! In a word - Fabulous! We couldn't take our vacation as we had two major breakdowns at home; a burst pipe which caused damage and a broken down boiler which needed replacing. Each of these happened the day before we were due to leave home. I contacted Margaret and she was most understanding. I applied for a part refund on Booking.com but no reply was forthcoming. I contacted Margaret on Sunday to enquire if a refund would be forthcoming, and Margaret replied that there would be zero refund as she had not been able to refill the premises; this despite Booking.com telling me that costs would be waived. This has been a most distressing time, as you may understand, and I'd think twice in the future about using Booking.com

Service

Rammal Lodge was the home away from I needed at this point of our journey! We met Margaret and Callum when we arrived, but they were very discreet and left us to ourselves for the duration of our stay. We walked in, and it’s exactly as pictured, smells beautiful and is in a nice quiet location on the edge of town. It’s only five years old, and all the fixtures and fittings are lovely and modern, perfectly maintained and exceptionally clean. Only a short drive to the city centre where we found reasonably priced high rise parking allowing us to walk around and see the sights and eat out. It was also very conveniently placed for all our outlying adventures we had planned at Loch Ness and Urkhart Castle. The lodge has everything you could need for a few peaceful days away from the hustle and bustle of the touristy centres but still close enough if you want to drive into the city.

Very spacious, clean and homey. We were lucky to be just a few minutes away from the very noisy and crowded downtown in a peaceful neighborhood, but still close enough to easily access the downtown shops and restaurants.

Very clean, perfect amount of space, and the owners even had a booklet of how to use each appliance, recommendations nearby, fire code testing, and more. It was absolutely exceptional.
