Really enjoyed this apartment. Well located next to the city walls at Porta Santa Anna and having a patisserie right downstairs was awesome! Apartment was nicely renovated and modern - comfortable, bright, modern with good air con, wifi and Netflix. Lovely bathroom, and was nice to have a decent kitchen to cook in if staying a few nights like we did. Likewise with the washing machine. Only used one bedroom but bed was comfy with plenty of storage too. There is a weird mezzanine level with a glass floor above the kitchen - not sure what it's for but if you had kids with you i guess they would have fun up there. Overall a really nice apartment and would use it again if we went back to Lucca.

Apartment is on the 4th floor, and the last set of steps is both narrow and steep. Fine if you are able bodied with light luggage but would be a real challenge for some people, especially with lots of/heavy luggage. Very limited short term parking (1-3hrs) is nearby and okay but gets very expensive after that. Closest free parking is a 20 min walk away.

Clean, bright, well maintained in the heart of Lucca. Excellent communication from the host with arrival details. 2 good sized double rooms with lots of storage. Good wifi.

Kitchen was missing some basic supplies like a sharp knife, chopping board and corkscrew. Up 4 flights of stairs (not a criticism but sharing information for those with heavy bags or limited mobility)

Modern, clean and comfortable. In a great location.
