The room was small, when i opened my luggage i had almost no place to walk around

The place is good and clean room

Location was changed from what was advertised on the day of arrival

Calm neighbourhood but not excellent for tourism purposes. Host was helpful anyway

Are seemed sketchy. Had to park on the street. Walls are thin. Some mold in the shared bathroom shower

The room was clean and the other people staying there were nice.

To be honest, the area the property is located in made me feel extremely uncomfortable. Trash all over the streets, rats everywhere, we walked to buy food and seen maybe 6 or 7 cop cars drive past with the lights on in the 10 mins we walked. We went to the Wendy's down the street and as soon as we step inside an altercation occured. We just did not feel safe in this neighborhood. I recommend if you're staying in Newark, book a hotel.
