We couldn't get access to the unit because no access code was provided. We were on the phone trying to get someone to help us. So unprofessional.

Great camping feeling but more luxury

We loved being surrounded by animals and having an experience of being in the wilderness. The staff is amazing and they were very friendly. Newburg lodge is honestly a great place to be.

The fact that we had to buy wood which was a necessity and not being told in advanced about it. Most things came at a surprise because milk, sugar and other tea stuff weren't provided at the facility and it wasn't communicated prior. But nonetheless that place is peaceful and it's great for leisure and relaxation.

Despite the remoteness of the property, it was a good break-away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The facilities are quite adequate save that it lacks maintenance. The golf course is in great shape and well maintained. The club facilities are excellent. The wildlife on the resort was amazing.

The code given to open the locked key box was incorrect. We had to wait hours for the cleaning contractor to come and open the door at approximately 20h30. Contact numbers of important persons should be given when booking is confirmed or at the main gate when checking in. Such persons should be reachable. By pure luck, the nearby shop owner put us in contact with individuals who helped us gain access to the property. The property lacks maintenance. Wall lights are hanging loose, waterflow in the washbasins in the bathrooms is poor and almost at a trinkle. Some of the outside lights are not working.
