Perfect location! Spacious and sunny. The owner even upgraded us at no extra cost! Very comfortable bed and excellent shower.

The kitchen didn’t have a wide variety of stuff, but that wasn’t a problem for us.

The location was fantastic, everything was in walking distance but quiet in the street.

Although the owner was kind, several things could be improved. The main issue was that the property advertised on booking.com was highly misleading - when I booked, I was led to believe that this was for the 'whole of apartment', as stated on the page. I booked for 4 adults, and it was clear from the photos and information that there were two separate bedrooms. When we arrived however, the owner expected one of us to sleep on the sofa, the other on a very small pull out bed, and the remaining on the double bed - all in the same room. This seemed absurd to me and not what I had booked, therefore I took the second, vacant bedroom available. The owner let themselves into the property because an alarm went off during our stay and went into our individual rooms - I received a message saying that I should not be using this second bedroom but the sofa. They later agreed, seemingly out of generosity, to let us use this room since it had not been booked. I would have been really upset if I would have had to a) share the apartment with strangers when I thought I had booked it fully for my parents to be comfortable and b) share a sofa with my partner in the same room as my parents. Aside from that, the kitchen had no cooking stove (nor coffee machine), which was disappointing given that we had hoped to cook. A lot of the facilities were unclean, particularly the cutlery, plates, and the oven (which seems to have not been cleaned in months). Lastly, the laundry room (which is supervised by camera) was at our disposal however the washing machine and dryer do not work properly and leaked multiple times during our washes, as well as the alarm going off twice. The person that met my partner (who was the first to arrive) did not speak any English and therefore explained very little of how things worked in the apartment.

The property was superb and the location second to none. Raphael was a superb host and could not do enough to help and improve our stay. Excellent Raphael and so many thanks. we look forward to visiting again.

It’s an apartment so everything is DIY - so not to expect hotel service style … also be prepared for some stair climbing within the apartment

The location was out of this world. It is right in the centre of the Jewish Quarter of the Old City - 5 mins walk from the Western Wall and less than 10-15 mins for everything else in the Old City. The terrace of the apartment we stayed in had direct views of Temple Mount. The apartment itself was beautiful and very clean. Raphael was an excellent host who helped us out on arrival after some travel difficulties in getting to Jerusalem.

The apartment was just magical-a sanctuary in a busy city but incredibly close to all the action! We absolutely loved it!
