Cozy 2 Bedroom Cottage in Kirkcaldy

I wish I could review the actual cottage, but my family and I never even made it through the front door. After traveling all the way to Kirkcaldy, we arrived at the property only to find it locked with no check-in instructions provided. Despite multiple calls, texts, and emails, the owner completely ghosted us. We were left stranded on the sidewalk with our luggage and kids, desperately trying to find a last-minute hotel in an area we didn't know. Why You Should Stay Away: • Zero Communication: The host stopped responding the moment the booking was confirmed. • Unreliable: There is no backup system or local contact for emergencies. • Stressful Experience: What was supposed to be a relaxing family getaway turned into a logistical nightmare. Do yourself a favor and book elsewhere. This "host" is unprofessional and clearly doesn't care about their guests. A total waste of time and money.

The property is very centrally located not only within Kirkcaldy but also Fife...it is an ideal base whether for visiting friends and family or visiting tourist spots! The beds were exceptional and the bedding and towels immaculate and excellent hotel style quality. We had a few issues with wifi and the shower which were all addressed promptly

As many have said before it could do with a huge clear up outside the property as it lets it down...no dishtowels were provided and you might want to bring a bread knife with you.

The location was perfect, as it was within walking distance of the event we were there for. There was ample parking and the house was clean and spacious.

There was no teapot, but everything else was grand.

Great location, had everything you need, very big place and very good value.

Central location. Own driveway for parking. Very clean/new appliances.

The property was in a good location.

The property wasn’t clean, we found dirty tissues in the bedroom, there was also dirty tissues down the side of the sofa. The plates and cutlery all had to be washed before using. The hedge out the front is out of control, we couldn’t get through the gate at the front as it’s so over grown and it also makes it dangerous for driving out onto the road, as it’s so overgrown you cannot see any oncoming traffic. No plug sockets or bedside lamps next to the beds. No mattress protectors on the beds.
