Big garden, except that they are currently building a villa directly in-front so we heard the builders daily drilling, their loud music and noise

Dissatisfaction with our experience, challenges we faced all of which have photographic and recorded evidence. The villa's condition was not up to the anticipated standards. There were issues with cleanliness- tissues and cotton pads under the bed, dirt within the rugs, notably the oven exhibited a greasy residue. Furthermore the operational state of essential amenities presented additional challenges. Broken mosquito nets, the air conditioning in the master bedroom was inadequately functioning rendering the room uncomfortably warm and inhibiting proper rest. The response provided by the owner was regrettably disrespectful and abusive in nature. Prior to our booking we made contact with the owner to confirm that villa was fully air conditioned and we were reassured that it was. Contrary to this, it is actually insufficient, and unable to cool the designated spaces as communicated. The single unit can barely cover the sofa area, definitely not able to reach the eating area nor the kitchen. This discrepancy, was confirmed through expert evaluation when we had technician come in to re gas two units, emphasising the need for improved clarity in the property's description. We experienced a distressing incident involving our young child becoming inadvertently locked in the bathroom due to a malfunctioning door handle spring. Caretaking staff came to assist and eventually broke the door to allow the child out after being stuck for 2 1/2 hours. As a result of this, our damage deposit was withheld, despite the incident being attributed to wear and tear. Furthermore let us raise concerns about the condition of certain appliances such as the oven and dishwash which are exhibiting signs of deteriorating functionality. While operating instructions were provided, eg, make sure to push the dishwasher door really hard, it raises concerns about their proper maintenance- as well as the fact that you will be held responsible if they break during your stay.
