Le Journey Luxury Cruise

Walking in is definitely impressive compared to the outside and it looks nice from 5 feet away. The evening meal was very good, lots of flavours and very well presented - my favourite part of the trip.

The outside of the boat is very worn, but okay it’s the inside that counts. Everything was damaged and broken. The room needed a lot of TLC and it just was not a 5* experience. I also feel I overpaid massively. Talking with some other people, they paid less than half of what I did, had a pool on board, had rose petals thrown over them as they boarded and it looked much nicer. There was just lots of broken things in the room and lots of chipped flooring. I was also next to the kitchen so I could constantly hear the staff talking and dropping things, there was also a lot of diesel smoke and fumes inside the boat near this area, but the door to the cabin did stop a lot of this. The top deck had no cushions on the chairs and not enough chairs. The lunch/buffet was average, breakfast is served at 06:00-06:30 and of course everything on board is very overpriced so take your own drinks on board. I would avoid this cruise for a one time experience, this is not the one.

Ce que nous avons le plus apprécié, c’est le rythme de la croisière. Rien ne semblait précipité ni commercial. Les repas étaient servis avec discrétion, dans le souci du détail et avec une belle inspiration locale. Le personnel était à la fois discret et attentif, toujours présent sans jamais être intrusif. Cette croisière offre une expérience très authentique, idéale pour les voyageurs qui privilégient un tourisme lent et des moments sincères plutôt qu’un programme chargé.

Paquebot à taille humaine18 chambres, l’organisation était parfaite, le personnel souriant,adorable et disponible à chaque instant. La cuisine excellente. Les 2 responsables Andy et Peter, jamais loin et aux petits soins!

It was one of my favourite places to celebrate New Year's. The staff are amazing from Andy, Tommy, Peter and all the crew. They were so helpful and polite. The trip to the village was very interesting.

A great trip on a more classical style of ship. We had the Presidential Suite which had a great deck and loads of space. Great food and organisation by our Tour Manager Andy, 10/10 for Andy’s enthusiasm and organisation.

Probably the stop offs on the transfer to and from the vessel, unnecessary in my opinion.
