Cosy Two-Bedroom Apartment

Ce que j'ai apprécie beaucoup c'est la manière dont le propriétaire a dit : "Faites comme chez vous". Cette phrase nous a brisée les barrière et on était plus que à l'aise dans l'appartement. Ses services sont Top, assistance exceptionnel. Ils sont attentifs et compréhensifs.

The apartment is very comfortable with air conditioner. I was feeling at home. Supermarket, atm, bus are not far away, two minutes walk. Very clean, Jimmy is a nice guy, always available.

Nothing

Location was very bad. Hard to get the transportation to go any where. Locality was bad. Roaches, ants etc. Host try to prove themselves but the place is a sheet.

Location. Cleanliness, basic stuff was not provided for e.g. dish washing soap. We got sick. Info given on the web was wrong. Roaches , ants lizard etc. Promised for the breakfast not provided. Ride from the terminal not provided.

The owners are very nice, I asked for early and late check in/ out and they were able to accommodate my request… I loved the separate shower, toilet, and wash up area, you could have three people getting ready at the same time… everything you need is provided, towels, toiletries, kitchen utensils, fridge, microwave, etc… the bed and pillows were very comfortable and fresh… two bedrooms (one has a double and the other a queen bed), tv’s in the rooms, there was also a washing machine… the entire apartment was air conditioned… one owner is a pastry chef and left me a plateful of macaroons along with bread, cheese, milk, sugar and coffee… there is plenty of living room and dining room space and the sofa was very comfortable and clean… when my transportation to the cruise port was canceled at the last minute, the owners stepped in and helped me with alternate arrangements… I was so grateful as a female Solo traveller for their help… the neighbours were very friendly… and the unit is centrally located, I saw many residents in the complex walking three or four blocks to the Main Street… there is an elementary school beside the house and a toddlers day care so it’s a family neighborhood… very peaceful and quiet…

There is no Uber in Mauritius, you are at the mercy of the local taxi drivers… I would suggest to the owners perhaps a few menu’s from local restaurants, that deliver… as well as a list of local corner stores… as I mentioned one owner is a pastry chef, so some of the surfaces in the kitchen were a little sticky, but not dirty and a bigger garbage bin…
