Too hot in the room no AC. Also, the curtains let a lot of light through.

The location and setting are beautiful — a stunning building with a sleek, minimalist design, right on a lovely beach with a pier. Everything also seems very well thought out for guests with reduced mobility. But… there is a big “but”… the maintenance and overall upkeep of the place leave a lot to be desired 🥴

First, we arrived outside the reception desk opening hours, which closes very early (5:00 PM). We had been told by message that our key card would be in a lockbox and were given the access code, except the box was empty… Thankfully, a restaurant staff member was eventually able to help us and found our key card still sitting at the closed reception desk. Then, the room was far too hot: 27°C when we arrived, and the air conditioning was basically a joke — it did nothing. In the end, we had to leave both the door and window open all night just to bring the temperature down to 23°C which is still far too warm to sleep comfortably. The room itself was not very clean. There was dust, dog hair, and grass all over under the bed and in the corners. In the bathroom, there were spit stains around the sink that clearly hadn’t been cleaned. Not to mention the marks and stains on the furniture… At breakfast, they struggled to keep up with restocking, and it was difficult to find a quiet place to sit. For €150 a night, we expected much better than this. The value for money is simply not there at all.

Ruim en schoon en voor vakantiefietsers dicht bij het treinstation. Het is een zorghotel, dus heeft wel een beetje een ziekenhusvibe.

Toen wij er waren was het fris buiten, maar binnen erg warm.
