Lack of transparency with additional costs!! The bell tents were advertised for those attending the Golf Open. It was originally moved from one location to one slightly further away but we were advised that a shuttle bus would be provided. There was no transparency in relation to the cost of this and that only cash would be accepted!!! In addition initially we thought a grab and go breakfast was included however this was a paid extra, again insisting on cash only for a really sub standard product. This really brought our experience down.
GBGBIt was clean, well organised and staff were very helpful, an ideal base for the open golf.

IEFood wasn't available in the morning,,nothing was ready. Couldnt get a cup of tea or coffee as the kettle didn't work on the Wednesday and Thursday New kettle on Friday but no milk for tea or coffee. If we had known it was going to be like that we would have brought our own camping equipment and food etc. Look it's a learning curve for everyone involved so i would not give out. If there was a way of possibly supplying electricity to the tents for next year that would be great. I suppose it will depend on location. Another criticism would be the cost of the bus back and forth to the golf course. I understand the cost of the bus must be covered but maybe let kids go free. £80 i paid for the bus for 2 days,,i could have driven out for half the cost. Just a suggestion for next year don't charge the kids the same price. The staff i can't say a bad word about,,,Tony,Joy,Leo and the chef from Iran sorry i can't remember his name were all brilliant in fairness,,so thanks very much for everything and if its ok with you guys we would definitely stay with you next year again.
Just the catering situation wasn't great and the cost of the bus in and out.
