"Apartment was ok but needs a bit of TLC and maybe a few extra touches to make it feel more welcoming"

Value for money

Although it didn’t bother me to much I would imagine not having a lock-in the door into the apartment or a working lock on the bathroom and left it accessible from the main house when in use could have made some people uncomfortable or vulnerable, there was a lock on the bedroom door.

"Very convenient flat in a very convenient location! Very pleasant!"

Great location, right by a lovely pub The Jolly Postboys and about a 20 minute walk into the centre. Very friendly host who showed us the property and allowed us to leave our bags prior to check in. Was nice to have our own kitchenette - all in all very good value for money.

Wasn’t very clear on the listing that it was a studio flat within a family home - no private entry and had to be mindful of volume. Wasn’t particularly a problem for us though may be for other guests. Was advised that the property wouldn’t be ready until 3.30pm which perhaps should be altered on the listing. Also shower didn’t have very good pressure but again, just personal preference!
