Jardim da Oura - Shared Pool - 6 Guests - Albufeira

Nice, quiet location and great to have secure parking too. It's a 5-minute walk to the strip (but I would recommend avoiding it) only a 10 minutes stroll down to the beach and a short taxi journey to the old town. Towels were changed twice a week and the cleaners came once a week and did a lovely job. A/C in lounge and bedrooms but not needed in October.

Didn't like having to take endless photos on arrival and at the end of our stay showing any damage around the property as well as an inventory of items then send the pictures off via WhatsApp to a separate insurance company portal in order to protect your security deposit. The property was very clean but spoilt by being tired/damaged in places, we had a problem with the downstairs toilet which was promptly repaired. The pool looked lovely, but on closer inspection, the water was full of leaves, insects, feathers etc., so it wasn't being maintained regularly and it was also freezing. We had problems with very noisy neighbours whose large dogs were barking for long periods as they were constantly being left alone for hours on end either on the balcony or in the garden, we complained to the booking company who could not do anything as most of the other apartments in the complex are privately owned. Unfortunately, we could not sit in our apartment's patio/garden area or use the balconies, and we could not even open the doors or windows as plagues of mosquitos were constantly biting us. We have travelled all over the world and have never been anywhere so bad, even resorted to buy plug-in repellants for the lounge and bedrooms to try and minimize the pests' attacks without much success. Distinct lack of any instructions in the apartment - especially regarding the many TV remotes, as well as the operation of the oven/ hobs and grill as the settings symbols have worn away on the front of the appliance. You are not told how to open the car gate from the inside (small grey switch to the inside right of the pedestrian gate) and you are not made aware that you have to dispose of all rubbish in the public refuge bins out on the main road and the nearest recycling bins are several hundred meters away.

I would never book again ,these are fraud,1st waz not allowed check in till 5pm in evening,but had 2b out at 10am,in morning, as we arrived early we had 2 walk around no fresh clothes payed 4 taxi 2 the property offices never asked did we want a drink of water then get another taxi 2 property, 2 much hassle,did not accommodate when asked could they have really earlier,did not care,found condom wrappers in drawers so cleaning ot great,but worse waz when we got home they emailed sayin €100 waz taken from deposit of €300 for breaking fridge,which we never broken,asked them for pictures of broken fridge all they sent waz pictures of the door said drawer waz missing, I had moved drawer 2 top shelf,cause I waz afraid of bottle of water hitting it ,it waz not broke ,when we rang were sooo rude and said u just have 2 pay for this and don't contact us again ,I asked 4 receipt of the so called broke self this when they gt angry on phone,even of shelf waz broke we looked no more than €27 not €100 I will never stay here again worse expensive ever

Felt like a nice safe place to holiday. Air con throughout is a real plus. Spacious and in a reasonable part of the town. Essentials were left for us which was a nice touch. Communication via Whats App was useful. Towels changed every 3 days and were very quick to respond when we had an issue with power. Pool was a good size to accomodate all guests (not just Check In who operate here)

House beginning to look dated with cracked tiles etc. Did not change bedding or clean appartment in 10 days and refused to supply more than 1 pillow per person as they had none available! Quality of towels was poor and felt like cheap hotel quality. Only 2 sunbeds provided for a 4 person family. Its a nice place but is it worth 300 euros a night - no its not - I am sure you will find lots and lots of places in the fabulous town of Albuferia thats much better value.

Lovely comfortable property in Albufeira close to the new town and also within walking distance to the old town. Pool area was lovely and looks just like the picture.

Just be aware that there is an automatic noise sensor that kicks in after 10pm that sends your phone a message.

Het inchecken ging vlekkeloos en we kregen steeds zeer snel antwoord op onze vragen. Goede communicatie. Het was een prachtig, schine en ruime accomodatie en bovendien zeer goed uitgerust. Rustig gelegen en mooi aangelegde tuin. Het strand, bakker, supermarkt en restaurantjes op loopafstand. Wij hebben genoten!
