The Edge Labone

We arrived from the airport with the usual delay and were happy to still receive the keys at 10pm. Payment was via a payment link, that was very practical. The place is spacious, air conditioning, warm water and Internet were working perfectly. The security guards were reassuring and did a good job. The neighborhood is calm for Accra standards, and I really liked the view on the neighborhood as well as the sea from the balcony. For the little hiccups we had, our contact person Judith was very responsive and solved our problems when they occurred.

We had a bit of a hiccup with a wrongly installed water filter (yes, the place has a water filter), which led to a flooding of the kitchen while we were out. Luckily a plumber was called and they dealt with it, it's just unfortunate that it happened in the first place. The rooftop pool is a big selling point of the place, but unfortunately the personnel are not very proactive in actually keeping it in a good shape - the first time we went the water was a bit cloudy, and when we inquired about that, the lady said that yeah, that shouldn't be like that, without any timeline on when they were going to have a look. The second time we saw the chlorine tablets in there, so somebody seems to care, but this then led to us being told we should not use it before it was cleaned again without any timeline. We went anyway and it was fine, it just seems like the cleaning personnel are not very comfortable with the procedures.

Everything! Even with brief power outage that was immediately settled.

That i did not stay longer.

Un quartier paisible et plein des choses à faire dans les alentours. Les restaurants dans la zone est extrêmement cher. Si vous voulez les bon plan partez un peu plus loin…

Trop de cafards dans la maison et de coupure à répétition car le gérant n’a pas payé le courant de même pour l’Internet

The apartment exceeded expectations. Both bedrooms were spotless, and the additional cleaning was done beautifully. The Host was easy to contact and very responsive. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches like laundry pods and other essentials. Highly recommend this stay!
