Cotswold Home over 4 floors - perfect for Families Friends Contractors

Lovely characterful house with all the amenities you need. Nice bathroom, great view, good hosts.

I liked the narrow nature of the house with its four stories, though all the stairs should be kept in mind by people with mobility issues if they are considering a stay.

Perfect setting to travel the Cotswolds

Parking is tough but u can manage

It was very dated Carpet wasn’t vacuumed properly Shower tiles and tray had mould Too many staires and very narrow I could hear people from outside shouting during the night

Good central Cotswolds location

Constant trips up and down 4 flights of stairs aren’t ideal but it was fine.

Amneties and location good Variery of pubs and good food

More privacy needed....curtaining needed on landing window. Garden furniture would be a plus. Mirror above basin in bathroom needed. Adjustable shower hose needed. Parking unfortunately was an issue.

Convenient and gorgeous location Easy check in and host messaged to check everything was ok Bedrooms were lovely and clean as were the towels and sheets etc Sociable dinning area Welcome basket with eggs, bread etc was a lovely touch & appreciated There were a lot of us and we all enjoyed staying in the cottage - great value for money but probably better suited to 6 people or less

Lack of some facilities (my toddler wet his car seat on the motorway - but no washing machine or dryer. No freezer for ice cubes or kids ice creams. No barrier on the stairs which was risky with 4 kids at a young age. Sash windows didn't lock so had to be vigilant about the kids opening and leaning out. I only really noticed these things because we have very active kids so probably would go unnoticied by most families. My mum tripped over the router cables outside her door at the top of the stairs so might be an idea to move the location of this or secure under carpet etc. Parking is on the road but did always get a space right outside the cottage. Sofa bed is not as expected - very short! (I'm 5"3 and my feet overhung the end, so not particularly comfy - but the actual beds in the bedrooms were great)

Pleasant experience, lovely decor, clean. Nice kitchen, bedrooms and the bath.

We missed a few basic kitchen utensils for cooking, but this is a minor point.
