Stairs to get into the room

The location. The town. The view of the Port and we were lucky to watch a wedding in the Basilica from our window. 🙂

As in other reviews the stairs were fine for us as we had small pieces of luggage. It wouldn’t suit an older couple or those traveling with large and many pieces of luggage. The chandelier in the bathroom was pretty however not good for a taller person. Sharp edges which anyone over 6ft would find challenging. It was for my husband!

Perfect spot to spend a few days in Camogli. Really ideal for couples or solo travelers. The view from the window isn't like you see in the pics - It's BETTER! The place was comfy, perfectly located, and nicely decorated. It's about a 7-minute walk to/from the train station, and only a couple minutes to get down to the beach. Flora and Viviana were extremely kind and hospitable. If and when I return to Camogli I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Just a couple minor nitpicks- The antenna to the TV was broken so we didn't have any reception. But then again, we didn't go to Camogli to watch TV. The key to the ground floor entrance was a bit tricky, at least for me. Luckily my girlfriend had the magic touch so there were no major issues.

Camogli is a beautiful waterfront village, which unfortunately I couldn't enjoy because the rain was almost non-stop. The apartment interior is rather authentic "old Italy", which in general appeals to me since I'm sick of look-alike modern hotels.

This is a tough one to comment on since the proprietor Flora tries very hard to be helpful. The biggest drawback is the access. It's a good 500 meter walk along the village quayside to reach the building (not fun in the rain). Then the real difficulty begins. First are 20 steps up a covered breezeway. Upon entering the building, you first face 10 very steep narrow steps, followed by 13 steps that are best described as a ladder (you can only descend backwards because of the steepness). These issues are not correctable, and thus only young, agile visitors can handle it.

The location is unreal - the view is out of this world! Everything is so close too and it’s a very cute old apartment in a historical building.

The stairs up to it are steep but this adds real charm! probably not suitable for the older generations.

Lots of big stairs going up to the accommodation but it is worth it as the view out the window in the house is amazing.
