The bed

No hot shower or a bucket to use

Kitchenette and wardrobe space. The decor and updates/touch ups were quite an effort to modernize, loved that the fridge, kettle and microwave were all but new (I didn't use the cooker). Staff member Fred was exceptional-very kind, helpful, and resourceful.

Unit wasn't very clean particularly the bathroom sink and sink area although housekeeper made an effort to remedy the next day when I mentioned it. Mattress was soft (some people find that comfortable, I don't. Most hotels/such facilities have firm mattresses as a standard). I could still see glaring untidiness on the old parts of the unit, e.g. the bathroom door frame was very poorly done and stood out against the other modern finishes. Although the decor was really nice, the light colored sofa wasn't properly maintained (I can imagine this must be hard to do for such a space) so it wasn't clean. Internet was also iffy unfortunately, not a very strong connection. The unit has a lot of potential and I already recommended it to a couple of people but please pay attention to these details. The modern apartment with cool tone colors made the apartment calm and inviting. It's also very well furnished.

There was no one to receive us on arrival despite being in communication with the host and notifying her of our time of arrival. The apartment was dusty. The counter tops, headboard, the window seals all had layers of dust that clearly had a accumulated over a period of time. The living room and bathroom rugs were both musty.

The room was clean with all the necessary essentials we needed. The host was so great. We did enjoy our stay. Ample and safe parking.
