Lesley Court- A lovely Spacious 2 bedroom apartment by Catchpole Stays

The location of the unit was excellent for our purposes. Also the apartment was large so there was lots of room. We used the small balcony for our meals when the weather allowed. The property manager was very responsive to our requests - could not ask for more.

The process of collecting the access key (and codes) from a source remote from the units was not convenient when we did not have our own transport and did not know the city. The design of the on-suite shower cubicle meant that it was difficult to use so we used the shower in the second bathroom.

Ray who maintains the apartment was extremely responsive and supportive. The checkin/checkout instructions were provided very clearly and during the stay, they also quickly responded to additional questions we had. The apartment is spacious with two bedrooms. This was perfect for us. Myself and my wife both were working remotely during this trip and we needed two work stations to work from (without disturbing each other) - this apartment worked perfectly since it has two separate work-desks (one in each bedroom). The kitchen had all required vessels and amenities plus washing machine and a large refrigerator. The living room was comfortable with a large screen smart TV with Netflix/Amazon Prime and other connections. The location was very good as well - a 5 minute walk away from Chelmsford train station. We actually ended up extending our stay by 2 nights and would have extended it further if it was available )) . Definitely recommend this option to anyone looking for a spacious apartment to stay in Chelmsford.

The bed (mattress) in the master bedroom was too springy - this was not well suited for my back. The mattress in the other bedroom was better and hence I was able to manage.
