Location was good. Close to Charnwood Water for short walks, easy enough to walk into town, but bus routes close by if needed. A couple of decent local shops for essentials, bit awkward for a big shop if, like us, you don't have a car. Beds are super comfortable, the kids slept the best they have in aaaaages! Plenty of space for a short stay.

Kitchen doesn't have heating at present, so a bit chilly (and it wasn't especially cold for December when we stayed). There has been a dog in the property in the past, and the carpets and living room furniture need a good deep clean (smells unpleasantly like dog). Walls between house and neighbours are thin- be aware if you have noisy kids or are a light sleeper. The finish isn't as good as it appears in the photos. The sofa bed listed is actually a narrow single (not sofa width). I have notified the management of the property about the issues, and they assure me they will address these for future guests.
