Poppy Cottage, Cononley, Nr Skipton

We absolutely loved this property. It was immaculately clean and comfortable with plenty of natural light and beautiful views. Gemma is a fantastic host and possibly one of the most attentive, kind & generous owners we’ve experienced. Although we didn’t have the privilege of meeting her, she was exceptionally helpful and provided the most fabulous accommodation. Cononley was a great base for us to catch the bus outside the property and go on a local adventure and also we caught the train from the village station to go on a train and then steam train adventure.

Very comfortable cottage with everything you need including a pub down the road. Host made us feel very welcome - would certainly use again

The setting was lovely. New cottage with lovely modern amenities and very quaint village shop. Parking for 3 cars. Ideally located for local excursions. Highly recommend.

Great outdoor space with view of the countryside

Location for us was perfect and the views outstanding. The cottage was spotless, comfy bed, great shower, top quality furniture and kitchen equipment, biscuits and milk on arrival, Gemma, our host was caring and very helpful. Couldn’t fault it in any way, hopefully we will go back again someday.
