Amanya 2 Bedroom Self Catering Tent

I only liked the proximity to my husband's family boma.

I had stayed at another property by the same owner. It was a dirty and uncomfortable place. With employees entering at will, even letting themselves in to use the bathroom and kitchen for themselves. I left feedback to help them improve. I didn't know it was the same owner as this place. The owner ordered me out into the African Savanah in the middle of the night to punish me for my other review after I already paid. I refused to go out into the wilderness at night because I violated no rules and contacted booking.com who agreed with me. So I deleted my other review and was scared to leave one here. But I will now. Both this location and the other are deployable. Everything is filthy. Millions of bugs on everything! Everything is broken and trashed. They turn off electricity starting evening and don't turn it on again till morning. No ac, and no fans. Horribly hot! No water most of the time. No hot water at all. The bathrooms are filthy and gross with black mold, dead frogs and bugs and mud. No electric means the small fridge is not working so any food you buy will rot immediately in the heat. Flooring peeling off, broken chairs, mosquitoe nets don't shield anything. I have never seen so many bugs in my life. They will land in your face and hair getting stuck and tangled. The restaurant is over charging so much and use no food safety at all. They have no refrigeration either, so good luck with that. Insane pricing for such terrible accommodation. If you complain, they will do bad things to you. Don't go to this place!

- Well located close to Amboseli National Park gate; - Nice restaurant and bar with decent food; - Pleasant fire place facing Mt. Kilimanjaro; - Christmas celebration and music live were nice extras to our stay;

- For the most of our stay there was no water at all in our bathrooms; - Tent was quite small and not very comfortable; - Insects in the tent and around (probably not avoidable in this location)
