Coastal Charm - Picton Holiday Home

Location was good, walkable into town and marina.

'1960's' kitchen i.e. very old cupboards and equipment.Vacuum cleaner broken, mirrors in wrong position in bedroom i.e. on the floor, lack of bedside light. Lounge in need of refurbishment including sofas.

The location is fantastic and everything was clean

The place was dated including furniture but it is mentioned that it is under renovation so we look forward to seeing it next time

The location was excellent. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and warm. Bathroom has a decent size washing machine and clothes racks available to dry out on the deck. Good size fridge & freezer.

Drapes, carpet, oven etc were a little tired and not clean. The deck seat isn't that safe to sit on; with a small piece of wood supporting it - this unfortunately kept falling out. The TV wasn't working, luckily we brought our own laptop which we connected up to HMV1. I wasn't aware by the photos that the bedrooms and toilet etc were downstairs. Also by its appearance in the advert it looked like you had the whole of the unit; when in fact you only have half of it. It might pay to state that this unit does not have wheelchair access.

A very cosy little Charm nice and clean had all the amenities we needed close to town and beaches and was perfect for my family..

Expensive for what you get, TV doesn't work. Place could do with a bit of TLC.... but not major.

The location was perfect for our activities at Queen Charlotte Yacht Club. The building has old world kiwi Bach charm. The beds were comfortable and clean. Good internet.

The facilities, while quaint, were pretty basic considering the price.
