The location was excellent. It is about a 1/2 mile walk to Gosforth high Street. There is a Sainsbury Local at the bottom of the street and that was convenient. Think of it as an American convenience store with some items not carried in American convenience stores.

First and foremost, there is no users guide at the time we were there for the apartment. Luckily, we had a local individual to show us how some of the systems in the apartment worked. Secondly the apartment is in a middle floor. There was a small amount of noise from above. The apartment had reasonably good capabilities, such as for example, a refrigerator freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, iron, and ironing board. If you are bringing medical equipment with you from the United States, you will need to bring a power converter, possibly more than one. There are two bathrooms. The second bathroom is small. There is no dedicated parking space on the street where the apartment is. If you drive a rental there, you will have to search, possibly as far as two or three streets away to find parking. The finishes in the apartment were done, apparently, a few years back and are a little long in the tooth. As the apartment is in an older building, the floors, creak. You may wish to keep this in mind if there is a light sleeper in your party.
