Lovely 1 Bed Apartment with Parking

Parking space between pillars and VW golf unable to fit, awful smell when entering shared spaces, flat was dirty and dusty

Excellent Location to both football grounds which is exactly what we needed for our stay. Main double bed was comfortable as well, overall fairly clean and tidy however alot of wear and tear throughout the apartment.

We stayed here for two nights on the 25th - 27th May 2024. Here is our experience, we never tend to write reviews but this definitely deserves one to help others out in the future. On arrival we had no information about our parking even though we had filled out the parking form - Baring in mind we were only sent information about check in on the morning of our check in because we contacted them directly. Once we arrived at the car park outside of Hooters bar we got into the back car park as a gentleman kindly let us as we couldn’t work out how to get in! As we parked up we were greeted by the ground man’s caretaker who was very lovely to us but told us if we parked there we would be fined £100. He advised us to call the owners, we called to then only be sent the information for parking, baring in mind we filled out the parking form early hours before arrival as advised. When we called a young lady answered from their helpful desk who was extremely unhelpful, and couldn’t answer barely any questions we had. We finally got in the right car park however the space in car park was so tight and in between two pillars (if you have a big car you are screwed - You could also only park in a specific space or again you would be fined!) On arrival into the room it is advertised as a Double Bed and x1 Sofa Bed so we paid for a 3 bed property as per our booking confirmation - It is not a sofa bed and doesn’t pull out it is simply a standard L Shape sofa and doesn’t turn into a ‘Sofa Bed’ - We were also given no bedding for the so called ‘Sofa Bed’ except a thin blanket - Again we called the help number once more and we were advised we wouldn’t have bedding delivered till the next morning which is just unacceptable considering in the facilities section in mentions bedding, therefore one of us slept with a blanket and nothing else. We were then delivered some ‘bedding’ the next morning which was a bed sheet and a pillow case (no pillows or quilt!!) at this point we gave up!

The property was very modern, and decorated to a high standard! I liked that there was a TV in the bedroom as well as the lounge, and that you can connect to your own streaming accounts to continue watching your programs. Really good location, opposite the train station and close to the city centre.

It seemed that the kitchen could do with a bit of work. One of the drawers was hanging off, and the dishwasher didn’t close properly so you had to really slam it shut for it to start.

Very clean and set up as it shows in the pictures.

Parking is very complicated. Having to ring up for someone to open shutters who then stopped answering after certain times. Lucky we got in as someone else was leaving otherwise would of had to pay street parking.
