Loved the property! It was within a 20 minute drive to Fairbanks but far way enough to feel a little isolated. The little cabin had all the amenities that we needed for cooking our own meals. The property owners were very nice and made sure to communicate all the necessary details before arriving. We even got a call from the property owners David letting us know about a moose that was near by our cabin. I would definitely rebook this place if I visit Alaska again.

There’s no need to drive far to chase the Northern Lights — you can monitor the aurora right from the cabin. The host is incredibly kind and proactive, letting us know when the aurora appears and even offering to call and notify us, which made the experience very reassuring. The cabin is located about a 10–15 minute drive from restaurants and dining options. It’s quiet and peaceful, yet very convenient. Inside, the cabin is warm and cozy with reliable hot water, which is especially comforting during cold Alaskan nights. The kitchen is well equipped for simple cooking, with utensils, cookware, basic seasonings, a refrigerator, an oven, and a microwave. After a full day of activities, being able to cook or heat up a simple meal was extremely convenient and comforting. Overall, this was a very relaxing, hassle-free, and memorable stay. Perfect for families, couples, and anyone who wants an easy and comfortable Northern Lights experience. Highly recommended.

So cute and private but still easily accessible

We had a wonderful stay here! The Airbnb was very cozy, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The space felt warm and welcoming, and it was clear a lot of care went into making it a great place to stay. The hosts were incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful throughout our visit. They were quick to respond and made sure we were comfortable. We especially appreciated their thoughtfulness — they even provided medicines when needed, which really showed how much they care about their guests. Overall, this was a great experience and we truly enjoyed our time here. Highly recommend this place, and we would happily stay again!

there was no tap or washbasin

Very cute little cabin. Packed full of everything you could need. We didn’t meet the hosts but they provided heaps of useful information and check in and check out was super easy.

We had a fabulous 3 days stay at this Cozy Caribou cabin. The cabin is very cute and cozy and well stocked with coffee and tea. Cooking was a breeze with a well equipped kitchen. There was a small farm on the property, exuding a warm country feel. The hosts, David and Jasmine were very responsive to our queries and made us feel very welcome with the lights and heater turned on just before our arrival. They also gave us an aurora alert around midnight and told us where to have a better view down the path. They are such wonderful people!

We stayed 3 nights at the end of August. We had a one bedroom house named the Cozy Caribou that was very cute. It has a living room with a sofa bed, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. The upstairs has the queen bed. The roof is slanted so we had to be careful not to hit our head. It didn’t include breakfast though the cabin was well stocked with snacks, sweets, coffee, and tea which made us feel at home. It was in a quiet location, and we chose this place to hopefully see the Northern Lights. Unfortunately, it rained & was cloudy when we got there. The hosts, David and Jasmine, were very responsive to our inquiry and requests. They had a little farm that had goats and chickens. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

The only thing that we had to get used to was that there was no sink in the bathroom and washing was done in the kitchen sink.
