"in this day and age we have a right to have hot water in a hotel"

NO HOT WATER TOLD TO MOVE ROOMS IF WE NEED ED HOT WATER TOTALY UNEXCEPTABLE IN ANY HOTEL WERE TOLD THE ROOM NEED DOOR DID NOT HAVE HOT WATER YESTERDAY SO DID NO ONE CHEAK BEFORE WE ARRIVED??

"Good small hotel for a short stay"

"Great little find in an ideal location"

Wonderful hotels close to the main area, this hotel had great facilities and hearty breakfast to start you day off right. The staff were all very friendly and helpful with nothing too much trouble. They even gave us a choice of 3 rooms upon our arrival, two were upgrades at no additional cost.

"We had a lovely time in Hermanus and the hotel is well placed for walking to most restaurants"

We had a nice suite with a view of the ocean. The choice for breakfast was good and the staff were very attentive and friendly. The garage was secure and plenty of space for guest's vehicles.

"Beautiful Boutique Hotel (not Spa) in the heart of Hermanus"

Warm welcome by friendly and helpful staff. Our room was spacious, clean and beautifully decorated with an ocean view. Breakfast was delicious, I loved their homemade muesli. They do not offer dinner at the Hotel, but arranged a reservation for us at The Wine Glass.

I was very disappointed by their 'spa' as it was one of the main reasons for choosing this Hotel. Signed up for their Gold Package, which at a cost of R1800 for 2 hours, I expected a qualified therapist ... this was not the case. Existing staff do short courses for massage, pedi's etc. Room was located near staff quarters which was very noisy.

"Great - but a bit overpriced for the quality."

Its lovely but I am still not sure what this hotel is trying to be - mass market or a boutique. If it’s really a boutique, then it needs to upgrade the rooms including adding a fridge. However, whilst we enjoyed our stay, it is over priced for what it is.
