The White House at The Tinners Arms

It was authentic Cornwall. The pub was a proper English pub frequented by locals. Very friendly to walkers. There was a kitchen we didn't expect for all residents to share.

You could hear people through the door down the corridor.

Brocken chair in window, window frame rotten bathroom door wouldn't close to lock, shower grouting mouldy, evening menu very limited

Very old traditional pub with amazing food and staff. The White House accommodation is next door where we stayed. Very clean lovely room with a country view.

I liked the cosy pub and all the staff was very helpful and friendly. Made us feel very welcome. Our room was supplied with biscuits and tea coffee hot chocolate every day. Room serviced daily. I liked the shower gel and soap. All very nice. Also, it is really convenient to be able to have use of a kitchen diner. Loved the area great for walking.

The shower was not too good as we couldn't get the shower head to stay right and worried as it was leaking into the kitchen table, so we used the spare shower next door to ours. Not having a t.v or radio, we thought was unusual. Or drawers for clothes.

Very welcoming team as a whole, nothing too much trouble, made you feel like you were right at home! Room was beautifully presented, and not sure what room scent they used but it smelt stunning, and lingered the whole entire time we were there! Breakfast - amazing, dinner - top noch!

Could not fault it!

Staff excellent, good no nonsense pub and accommodation breakfast very good, lunch choices fine and tasty. Evening meal not quite up to lunch and breakfast standard, chips undercooked but very fair meal. Note this Inn doesn’t have tv which is a relief to many however the Wi-Fi is very adequate to stream if you wish.

Beautiful period cottage, stunning location. Amazing breakfast.

No TV in the bedroom. Next to a communal bathroom which was noisy from 7.30 am.
