SALANG SAYANG RESORT , PULAU TIOMAN

The location is absolutely perfect, on the sandy part of the bay and surrounded by palms and a nice garden. The resident monkeys are entertaining, and you see the occasional iguana wandering past. Perfect for nature lovers and those looking for peace and tranquillity. Jimmy, the host, was great, really welcoming. Snorkelling from the beach directly in front of the resort is great, and we also took a trip over to coral island, which was awesome...swimming alongside the turtles is a memory i will cherish forever.

It was such a special time that I really don't want to criticise anything. But anyone considering coming here should be aware that the accommodation is very basic, and the rooms are quite shabby. But we didn't come here for 5 star luxury, it's all about the location.

Nothing interesting! Beach nearby has lots of dead coral which can cut your feet if not wearing shoes.

The air conditioning in the room had a problem since evening after check in. Went to the office..asking for help but no one there. Told the kitchen staff about the matter at 7.30pm, they asked to wait because no staff was available at that time. Up to 10 pm no action taken. I wanted to sleep early because need to catch the ferry at 5 am but the room was so hot 🥵 🔥 🔥 🔥 🥵 I called the person in charge's phone number stated in booking.com he claims not responsible for it. He told me to call resort staff because not his problem. What the fish!!!! I did call office many times still no one pick up. End up went myself to the office and it was closed. Horrible!!! My first ever time travel the world and this worse thing happened in my own country. Shame on you!! Really bad service. Please be aware. Keep your things outside carefully because lots of monkey will steal your things especially foods .

L'emplacement est parfait. Face à la plus belle partie de la plage pour faire du snorkeling et au départ d'une petite randonnée de 2 heures aller/retour pour la baie des singes. Le personnel est souriant.

Nous avions réservé deux chalets (un par booking et un autre par l établissement directement). Les "chalets" sont vétustes, les sanitaires fuient (douche, wc) dégageant une odeur nauséabonde d'urine. Les clim fuient également. Les chambres n'ont jamais été faites. Il faut réclamer le papier toilette (3 fois dans la même journée) ainsi que des serviettes propres (nous sommes restés 7 jours. Le ménage n'est fait que partiellement avant l arrivée du client (sachet vide de nourriture dans la chambre, bouchon de gel douche au dessus du lavabo qui n avait pas été nettoyé aux vues des traces de savon restantes). Il existe un problème de sécurité, lié à des macaques venant piller chaque jour les poubelles devant les chalets et se montrant agressifs vis à vis des occupants (mon fils s est fait courser parce qu il regagnait la chambre à 3 mètres d eux, un touriste s est fait agressé sur sa terrasse et a du partir en courant pour echapper à leurs crocs). Le personnel ne prévient pas les vacanciers à leur arrivée de la présence des singes, ni des mesures de précautions à prendre. Le personnel est sympathique mais leur gestion manque de professionnalisme et de sérieux. C est dommage.

Het uitzicht vanaf het balkon van het huisje is fantastisch. Je stapt zo het strand op. Het huisje is basic en heeft alles wat je nodig hebt voor een stand vakantie. Bed, warme ruime douche, voldoende kast ruimte, waterkoker. Top. Maar het allermooiste van dit hotel is de locatie, echt het mooiste plaatje. Snorkelen meteen vanaf het strand voor je huisje. Het hotel regelt snorkel tripjes, Coral tour dikke aanrader. We hebben baby haaien en veel zeeschildpadden gezien op het eilandje vlakbij. Einde van de middag komen de aapjes uit het oerwoud eten pikken. Mooi schouwspel. De eigenaren zijn super aardig en als bonus is er elke avond bbq met verse vis. Kon niet beter.
