El Molino de Besalú (Casa con jardín)

Our host Joan was amazing and extremely helpful and informative, always responding very quickly to my questions. It was very much appreciated. Thank you Joan for all your recommendations and help :). The property location for us was perfect, and we appreciated the rustic feel to the renovation, and the sympathetic decor. The size of the outdoor space was good for us and felt quite private. It was nice to sit out for short periods of time. The property was equipped very well, and had everything we needed for a short stay. The layout for us was also amazing with 3 good size bedrooms. We would certainly recommend this property and definitely stay here again for another short 4 day trip. Besalu is a beautiful example of a medieval town, with an incredible amount of restaurants, cafes, bars and bakeries. We loved it.

All in all, we had a wonderful time, but there are a few things that would have made our stay more enjoyable, but only a couple of things we didn't like. We would have liked some comfortable garden furniture to lounge in the garden for short periods of time. Like others have mentioned, the property would really benefit from having some type of mosquito nets on windows so they could be opened from time to time to air the place. The mattresses for all of us (one lightweight person and 2 studier people) were a bit too firm, but certainly not a deal breaker. A hook for the shower head would have been great to function as up and over, rather than having to hold in hand. The 2 things that we didn't like that could probably be rectified fairly easily, would be 1) the lack of hooks to hang things like towels and clothes and bags. Could easily attach some to the wooden sides of the clothes storage areas. The twin room could definitely do with more hooks for hanging clothes. 2) wiping up the water from the bathroom floor after every shower. The shower door needs to be better sealed.

El sitio es muy especial en el antiguo molino. Muy bonito, práctico y decorado con gusto.

La ubicación, dimensiones, la vajilla, y camas.

No había aire acondicionado en la parte de abajo y en la parte de arriba, donde las habitaciones funcionaba muy flojo. Si que es verdad que nosotros fuimos con temperaturas de 35-40 grados. Por la noche refrescaba más, aún así, dormíamos con ventilador toda la noches.

Casita con mucho encanto, todo nuevo y un patio bonito

Al pasar el agua por debajo hay muchos mosquitos tanto fuera como dentro de la casa, no pudimos cenar en el patio, que estaba precioso, por los mosquitos. Faltan mosquiteras en las ventanas para poder abrir tranquilamente.
