Island View House BnB Self Check-In

Bed was very comfortable. It was easily accessible from viewing the Portland lighthouse.

I guess I should have known better, but I thought from the picture that the place was closer to the water.

Proximity to restaurants/places to explore. Comfortable.

The place was VERY clean.

The toilet is located in a VERY TIGHT SPACE. I could barely sit on it (and I am not obese). A taller or bigger person would not be able to use it. Also, not a lot of space where to put your things, I had to use the futon on the living room. No table where to work/use the computer. Not really that close to Old Port, it takes a 20 minute walk to get to the piers.

It was in a great location and was quiet.

Although I knew about it prior to my stay, I wasn’t thrilled with the spiral staircase to nowhere right outside the bedroom door. I also had a little difficulty with the narrow stairs due to a knee injury.

The apartment is in a walkable location. It is very clean and comfortable. I had my own designated parking spot and there's also street parking. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again if ever I am in Portland.

Owner met me on arrival and made sure I could get in. The location is excellent, a quiet side street just a ten-minute walk from Portland's waterfront. The unit was clean and had everything we needed. Off-street parking was next to the unit. We had a cooler of food so the refrigerator was very welcome.

The place is small and cramped. It was fine for one night but I wouldn't want to spend multiple days there.
