J16 Mablethorpe Pet Friendly Chalet

Good stay in a good location. Paying for electric on top was not ideal and was not advertised at the time of booking. We only found out about that a few days before the holiday. The chalet itself was really cosy and great to have the decking area. Loved the fire in the living room.

Chalet was clean and cozy, we have enjoyed the time spent here and we hope to be back soon

It was to cold for me could do with some better heating.so it did spoil my stay.

We were in Lincolnshire for hiking, so for eating and sleeping it was decent and the location wasn’t too bad.

Not entirely sure if it was cleaned before our arrival. A lot of grubby marks, general mess/dust and cobwebs. The kitchen came well equipped but we were a bit cautious of using the equipment at first. The property does come with cleaning supplies and a hoover but you’d expect it to be thoroughly cleaned before next guests arrival. Attention to detail was lacking.

The bathroom was a tad rough around the edges, but it was very usable, and the host replied quickly when I raised the possibly leaking sink with him

The plus is that you have to top up the electricity. The gentleman leaves you with a credit of -£10. Luckily I didn't get to top up because out of 5 nights I was only there one night. I'll describe the rest in a negative comment.

At the beginning I would also advise you to take the bedding with you. We found it all stained, some hair everywhere and dirt. The second fantastic thing is the moldy bathroom, loose toilet (be careful how you use it) and the stench in the bedroom from the bathroom wall. I am attaching photos. Think a few times whether it is worth it because after the first night I slept on the sofa because of the dirty bedding and the terrible condition of the bathroom I had to take something else. I am still sick because of his mold in the bathroom. I will definitely report it somewhere.
