New Valletta 1 bedroom city centre apartment with Terrace and Views

Location Air-conditioning in the bedroom (when electricity is available) Beds - We appreciate the owner asked in advance of our needs, and made up three beds for us.

Fire Safety Concern Beware, there are no lights in the staircase, and it's a real concern in the dark. This pose a risk of fall, and safety concern to find your way down to the street in case of fire. In addition there are no fire exit signs/ lights (to guide residents to the door exit)! PLEASE Be Sure you leave sufficient battery in your mobile phone to use as a torch to get up the stairs to the accommodation if you are returning after dark. Faulty electricity supply The owner was not contactable in the hour of need. The flat electric supply was a concern on our last night, as the fuse box kept turning off/ tripped; and there was a strong rubber burning smell near the electrical box. So we were left with no electricity for our last night stay, and it's like sleeping in a low heat oven with no air-conditioning. We hardly slept anyway, as we were concern about the burning smell from the fuse box, which is situated right outside of the entry to the flat door. When the owner finally replied in the morning, he said 'the government', I don't see the logic of his reply as other flats in the same building had electricity supply. Lack of Privacy The window to the bathroom is not glazed, and no curtains. I was able to see what's going on in the bathroom from the kitchen window through the mirror (as the mirror position was facing the kitchen window, and I can see reflection on the mirror when someone is sitting on the wc or having a shower!). To make matter worse, there is another window directly above our kitchen window, and I was very concern that the people upstairs was able to see reflection on the mirror too. So, PLEASE Bring something you can use to place on the window to protect your privacy!!!

Fantastic location right in the heart of Valletta. Dusty rooftop seating area has great view of the nearby dome of the Basilica Santwarju tal-Madonna tal-Karmnu. No frills but comfortable and with everything you might need, even washer/dryer. The host was communicative and self check-in was flexible & easy.

No complaints but understand that the unit is basic but clean and comfortable and equipped with everything you would need. We had a little confusion about check-out - Booking said 10:00 but the information on the table said 11:00 which we took to be the greater authority but we had to scramble when the host arrived at 10 on the button. He kindly waited for us to pull ourselves together.

Great location in comfortable apartment. Roof top Terrace had fantastic view of dome, it’s a shared facility but we had it to ourselves on multiple evenings

The location of the apartment is amazing. The host was really nice and respectful, he let us check in early because of the early flight. Helped us with recomondations for Valletta and city tour. Apartment is really nice. We reccommend.

It was for four people and it had one double bed, a truckle bed where if the person dicide to move in the middle of the night all the others would wake up because it was squeaking and the fourth person had to sleep on the couch.Wifi didn't work and it didn't even have the right amount of towels. It was just disappointed

The apartment is a 3rd floor by stairs, not for all the people with lugagge, nobody comes to open the door, so you have to take a key from a box on the street. When we arrived the apartment wasn´t clean, that was very ugly, i phone the owner and he never answer or whatsapp or what ever. Besides this a cleaning man come at 3pm and clean the apartment. The house is has a great location at Valletta district 3 blocks away from the main center, Republic Street. Is not a fancy apartment but it works, although the furniture need an urgent renovation. For the price it´s ok.

Very bad communication with Jerome the owner.

The location of the accommodation is perfect, it is only 200m from the main street. The accommodation is spacious and good, there are some things that can be renovated, but all in all I am satisfied. Communication with the owner was excellent, he is very kind and always available. My experience with this accommodation is positive and I would recommend it to my friends and I would choose it again if I were to come to Valletta again, which is otherwise a very nice town.
