Casa Paz, centro storico vista mare

Geweldige ligging bij de oude stad. Het zijn wel enkele trappen klimmen naar het gebouw, en dan opnieuw trappen naar de tweede verdieping. Het appartement is fantastisch, met twee slaapkamers (een met sofabed), een gezellige living, een eetkamer met keuken, en de badkamer met toilet. Er is een mooi uitzicht van de zee, de bergen, de kustlijn tot aan Monaco en de nieuwe stad beneden.

Great location - great views

The location in the historic cobblestone city. Also the comfortable and thoughtful amenities of appartment.

3rd floor steps. but beautiful view!

This was the third leg of my trip and Casa Paz was by far the best apartment of the three rentals I had arranged. It was thoughtfully equipped, furnished and the beds were comfortable and the linens were fresh and clean. Each bedroom had a fan which was much appreciated during a rather warm spell. The bathroom was modern with a great shower and the kitchen was very efficient. The location in the Alta is fabulous and historic. Best of all, we were greeted by Luca who oriented us to the apartment and then offered to guide us through the Alta while he pointed out his favorite restaurants and places to visit. He was a true Ambassador for Bordighera and we fell in love with this beautiful town and the warm-hearted people. I highly recommend staying at Casa Paz. Also, hit the beach. The ocean is extraordinary!

Be prepared to manage fairly steep stairs to the front door and also understand that the walk to the main shopping area (close to the train station) requires a return trip that is a bit uphill. (This is true for the beach as well.) You can, however, avail yourself to a taxi from town. It was warm during our stay, so walking (which we did a lot of) was a bit uncomfortable, but not problematic.
