Slight noise from bar opposite but was not late !

We liked not being in a hotel room we had a little two bed cottage it had lounge kitchen with washing machine and dishwasher

Looking out the window at the neighbours underwear and clothes drying outside the lounge window

Delightful character cottage in beautiful Port Sunlight. Quiet and comfortable, it had everything we needed. Great location with railway station two minutes’ walk and an Aldi across the road. We would recommend the property and definitely stay again if in the area. Host was very accommodating - thank you!

The bedroom blinds did not block out much light, so an eye mask is recommended for those who need darkness. There is a pub to the rear, and a railway line and road close by, none of which bothered us at all.

Location was fantastic ! Property was comfortable & cosy at night was also good size rooms , nice bright and airy

A few minor issues were, smaller bedroom, could do with longer lead to plug 2nd lamp in . Also pair of kitchen scissors would be useful !

Fabulous location. Spotlessly clean. Well equipped kitchen. Dishwasher & washing machine available- though we didn't use them. Freshly decorated. All in good order. Useful books & magazines about the local area.

Bed in smaller room was incredibly creaky. Mattress was thin and not too comfy. Pillows were thin & flabby and there were only two in the smaller room. Decent pillows are a small thing, but they make a big difference to sleep quality. Ceiling light in small bedroom not working and we didn't find any spare bulbs. There was a lingering smell of cooked spices in the property.

Very nice cottage, beautiful calm and blooming area. Supermarket just over the street. The house was heated on arrival and very comfortable. Parking in front, easy access to Liverpool centre and nearby cities by car or train.

The bed in the small bedroom squeaks badly. Some Salt and sugar would have been great.

This is a beautiful cottage, refurbished to a very high standard whilst still retaining the authentic feel of a period property.

The fact that we only had a weekend there.
