Boutique Garden Lodge @ The Larches

It was clean, had everything it needed, modern and as described

I didn’t like the thought of walking through shared accommodation in the evening, so didn’t leave the lodge. I’m a woman travelling alone, so was wary of the entry/exit. Also got woken up by a neighbour playing loud music- not the properties fault.

Loved the lodge, the bed was comfortable, the shower was rainfall, and it was very relaxing and spacious. Towels brand new. Beautiful built lodge, luxury, and is so cosy and beautiful inside. Jay was brilliant with check-in sending me emails when asked of local Indian cuisine. Very friendly and professional. Sainsbury's at the top of the road and petrol station within walking distance. Definitely will stay here again! Thank you.

The noise of the people staying opposite us in the room with open doors directly open to the outdoor seating/smoking area. They kept us up until 2.30am with music and laughing. Please be aware the seating area where you see out the front of lodge is a communal smoking area. Mind your head when you're brushing your teeth as you could knock the glass shelf!

Immaculately clean. Stylish decor. (Not the ubiquitous grey decor with black plastic sofa in so many aparthotels). Safe quiet leafy street.

A 22 minute walk from where I was working in city centre. Is a bedroom with kitchen in it so a compact studio. The very compact space might not suit all. At £95 that night was not far from hotel prices.

I feel it is completely disingenuous to take a booking with advanced payment and then returning with a damage deposit demand. This type of process via online payment from a text contact is fraught with the risks much publicised. The requirement should be clearly stated on booking and any security deposit done via the Booking.com portal. For this reason I regret I cannot recommend this facility.

It was spotless and very cosy the bed was so comfortable

Where is was situated there was no parking and the house next door had guys outside drinking and drugs didn’t feel very safe

The location was ideal for where I was working and the accommodation was great.
