Relais Casa was beautiful! My parents and I visited for vacation and we were not disappointed. Once you reach Positano you have to take two buses to reach the house. But the host gave clear directions and was very helpful, meeting us to help with our luggage. The view from the house was incredible, the house was very clean and the beds were comfortable. You can walk about 200 m to a small part of town with two wonderful restaurants and a charming market. If you are wanting more to do you can also walk down to the main (busier) part of positano. The host gave us wonderful recommendations for things to do during our stay. I would very much recommend Relais Casa!

Luca and his family have a lovely home to share. The apartment is perfect for a couple looking to live the Amalfi life instead of visiting it. The location is wonderful, seated above Positano in Montepertuso you have a private slice of this iconic Italian coastline to retreat to after a long day of pushing through the crowds this beautiful region attracts. Luca is warm, welcoming, and very helpful which is ideal after long travel days. He was fantastic at giving us guidance on how to get from the Positano pier to his property, even helped me figure out where to purchase tickets for the bus.10/10 would stay here again. Don't overthink it. If this is available you should book it.

The only reason not to stay at this property is if you can not do stairs. Access to the street or Positano centre by foot both require using stairs.

The apartment is pretty huge, with a very nice view from the front yard. Facilities are 10 out of 10. We even get a dedicated parking spot. Luca was so informative, friendly, and very helpful, especially with our heavy luggage. Overall, we are very happy 😊

Stairs, but that's because we didn't have enough exercise prior! So make sure you are fit and have strong legs before visiting Positano 💪 😉

A truly magical place to stay. Extremely peaceful, beautiful views, very clean and well designed property, everything was thought of. Most of all a fantastic host (Luca) who really cared about making sure we got the best experiences during our stay. A very warm welcome and attentive throughout our trip. We couldn’t have asked for more, Luca always checked to make sure we were ok and went the extra mile to ensure we had a fantastic holiday. I cannot recommend it enough. Would love to go back again!

We LOVED everything about this extraordinary residence; the view, the cleanliness, the decorum, the owner,; absolutely single every detail! The owner Luca was/is the most helpful, kind, and generous person we have ever encountered when renting a property. He is so personable! He helped us carry our luggage down the steps ( which were not bad considering he number of steps) and he was very detailed in providing us with an overview of his property and how to navigate the surrounding area of Positano and with allowing us to sample his delicious fennel liquor ( think Limoncello but with fennel- YUM!) The surrounding property is lush and full of succulent and calm greenery overlooking the Amalfi Coast, it was very hard to leave Casa degli Angeli and we can not wait to return! Thank you Luca, an to your family, or making our stay perfect x 100%!!!

Everything was a million percent perfect!

Luca was very helpful and we enjoyed his hospitality. He helped to get our luggage from the car down the steps to the apartment and gave us a lot of tips to enjoy Positano and Montepertuso. He and his family are excellent hosts!

It is a peaceful and safe place. Everything was really clean.

The shower. We would have like a non rainforest one in case you don’t want to wash your hair.

The steps!

Location is stunning positioned high up on the side of the hill. Not easy to get to but worth the effort for the peace and tranquility. Luca was amazingly helpful and welcoming and carried our bags to and from the car. He answered all our questions no matter what time it was. The property is very comfortable and includes heating and air con (if needed). Bed is super comfortable and kitchen has everything you need. (There is a well stocked Minimart a 10 minute walk up the road to buy supplies). Wifi was excellent and seemed very stable which was useful as there is no 4g signal at the property. Dont underestimate the number steps down to the town. Its an interesting hike and for us we had to use the hourly bus service to get back up the hill. The fresh air and peacefulness is probably our best memory of the place. Sat on the terrace in the evening with a bottle of wine and snacks. Heavenly. Luca has done an amazing job of building the place and is working on adding additional rooms. I cant thank him enough for making our stay so memorable. Very highly recommended. Thank you Luca.

The number of steps. But its part of what makes the place so tranquil. :) Dont let it put you off.

This is a small part of paradise. You can see heaven meeting the sea directly from your bedroom. Fresh air and birds singing. Luca and family will take exceptionally good care of you in this clean and spacious flat overlooking an almost vertical garden. Ristorante Il Ritrovo nextdoor offers both a wonderful meal and a great view. Take the bus 10 mins up the hill to Nocelle and the end (or start) of Sentieri degli Dei. You can reach the beach and downtown Positano directly using the stairs just outside the gate. Going up there’s a bus from Piazza del Mulino getting off at Via Grado.
