Squeaky clean with fantastic views and amenities. Loved being straight on the lake. Really quiet too since the road is up above.

Amazing location. Clean and tidy. Our American visitors couldn't believe the view. Main bedroom and bathroom great, second bedroom unusual. However, there is no privacy from the other half of the rental on the balcony or in the spa pool. Stove top inefficient, and perhaps more glasses wouldn't go a miss.

The location is wonderful. Communication and customer service could not be faulted. The steps down to the townhouse were clearly explained, but if you arrived on a dark wet night, you would need to take care. It was a great time in Taupo.

Its fabulous location with the waters of Lake Taupo almost kissing its doorstep (at the back) makes this place worth locking down on for your next stay in Taupo. The deck is where you can sit and take in the spectacular vista, or just have a cup of tea and a nibble or work away at your next novel or project, on a notebook or a computer, or better still do all of it at once! Or can you can drop it all, and go for a quick swim in the waters or a run along the lake. Inside, the rooms are spacious and comfortable and the kitchen and lounge area is where you'd want to spend most of your time for the view. Those with kids, their kids will love the climb up to the bunk-bed in one of the rooms, while the adults in the house can pamper their jaded bodies in the jacuzzi pool outside. Absolutely loved our stay here, and will come back again for a longer stay.

Perhaps nothing, but probably it would be great if one can score a deal on the price :). And yeah, accessing the place with heavy luggage can be quite tricky and intense for some as it is down a steep path (there are steps though and the section is guardrailed).

Code to door was wrong and needed to contact host. Need to number/allocate parking as other guests stole all parks.

Literally right on the lake waterfront; very clean and quite modern; good WiFi.

The apartment was back to back with another identical apartment, which resulted in some unwanted noise.

Access to the property but hosts did offer to help so no complaints

View on Taupo Lake, can even access the lake from our terrace. Great location, close to downtown.
