DESehr gute und neue Austattung! Das Haus unserer sehr freundlichen und kommunikativen Gastgeberin Zoe liegt sehr zentral zwischen Edinburgh City (ca. 7km westlich) und der Portobello Beach im Osten (ca. 3km). Hervorragend ist die City von Edinburgh mit der Linie 30 (Haltestelle ca. 400m vom Haus entfernt) zu erreichen. Zurück empfehlen sich spät abends örtlichen Fahrdienste mit Pre-Booking. Ein Frühstück ist im nahegelegenen Einkaufszentrum beim Costa Café möglich (fußläufig ~500m) oder eben in Edinburgh direkt. Die beiden (wenn auch nicht sehr großen) modern/ stilvoll eingerichteten Gästezimmer befinden sich in der ersten Etage und teilen sich das WC und Bad mit Wannendusche. Unser Fahrzeug konnten wir in der Wohnanlage (Sackgasse mit Eigenheimen ohne Durchgangsverkehr) sicher auf der Straße direkt gegenüber parken. Sicherlich besuchen wir Edinburgh noch einmal und würden Zoe's Gästezimmer erneut anfragen.

SEIt was easy to get to and find: bus 400 from the airport, then a 10-minute walk. Facilities were clean and fresh. Very quiet environment and comfortable bed. We missed the somewhat restrictive check-in time (15:00-18:00), due to a late flight, but the host was accommodating.
The air fresheners in every room (sometimes more than one in a room) were a little overpowering.

The owner had left the window open in the bedroom, so on our return at 12.30pm the room was freezing..
LVThe room and common bathroom were very clean at any time of a day. The place was also very cozy and homely and the owner is friendly and accommodating. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood near a shopping centre (about 5 minute walk) with multiple shops, restaurants and cafés. The city center is reachable in 30-40 minutes by a city bus that stops right near the house - very convenient.
