We were disappointed to arrive to find the caravan had not been cleaned which made the dated decor and smell of the caravan seem even worse We contacted the owner and he arranged for it to be cleaned which meant we were unable to access the caravan until 5pm after a 51/2 hour journey to get there We only used the caravan to sleep in and having stayed on similar sites before I felt having to provide your own bedding and towels another expense We had friends staying on the site and had paid less for a new lodge than what we paid for this caravan The caravan was also very cold at night so needed extra the extra duvets It served its purpose for our trip to Skegness but will be booking directly through park Dean next time

The caravan was not what we were expecting. Very poorly kept. Very run down. Overpriced

The property was extremely dirty, no linen was provided, when I contacted the host she sent me bank details requesting a charge of £25, I waited 3 hours for the linen that had some kind of animal fur on, stained and stunk, provided by the “cleaner, from her own home” there were stale sweets under the table , the place was covered in dust, cobwebs and spiders, the actually quilt in the double room was stained and one of the single beds my 6 year old slept on was faulty and tipped over luckily he wasn’t injured. The carpets were stained , there were broken windows and cupboards in the kitchen area. I sent all evidence to the host and there was absolutely no response I tried to contact them by telephone and they repeatedly declined my calls, there were exposed electrics in the bathroom the light fitting had no cover and there were no smoke alarms in the caravan. We turned up and there were rotten damaged chairs outside which the cleaner stated would be removed in the morning. The whole place was a dump, myself my son and my sister all ended up with bites round our ankles and legs, I am extremely unhappy, with the money I paid I could of stayed in a hotel or a bed and breakfast.
