RVA Cottage Cozy & Spacious Near Downtown

Some kitchen supplies were provided. The space was clean. Deck and backyard.

Just one bathroom for five people. No closet in third bedroom.

The location was close to downtown and some tourist destinations. Driving out of Richmond to Williamsburg was easy, too. The house was cozy and climate control was just like what we have at home. The area around the house was quiet too.

The beds were a little more firm than what's at home, so getting comfortable for the night took a little longer. The pillows were a little flat, as well, so we had to stack two to keep the head at a comfortable level.

Close to everything. Very clean and very cozy. Had plenty of extras for cooking, cleaning, and back deck and yard was a plus!

The space was wonderful, bright, open and clean. There was room for everybody. My daughter thought it was so cute, she was hoping it was available for longer term rental, LOL.

There wasn't much to not like, but if I had to pick something, being from Phoenix AZ, the weather and house were a little chilly for my blood, but it can't be helped when a grandchild is born and I get to visit Richmond every January.

The neighborhood was nice and close to downtown.

The beds are too hard. Had lights gobout twice while staying there

I loved how close the house was to the down town area and the neighborhood was clean and quiet!!!

Only problem i had was the dog hair every where and the roaches that would come out in the kitchen!

The mattresses were pretty stiff and not super comfy, but functional

Great property centrally located in Richmond. Good facilities. Particularly enjoyed the available grill in the garden. Spacious house with good beds and all equipment we would expect + a little more. A lot of info and advice in advance from James, the host. Convenient access to the house with door code.

Nothing in particular. A few available, updated guides on things to do in Richmond and the surrounding area could have been nice to have (the in-house book was about 15 years old), but as for us, we'd already done the research in advance.

The property was quiet. Upon entering it felt very clean. We appreciated the fully stocked kitchen. The washer and dryer worked very well. It was very close to downtown. We also liked looking at the guest book!

It was a pain to park in the back and walk around to the front. It would be nice to have a code entry on the backdoor as well. The beds and pillows could have been more comfortable and wish there were curtains in the windows of the bedrooms The bathroom being between the two rooms took a little getting used to also. Having 3 children made it disruptive throughout the night
