The Sketchers House - Private Art Gallery

This was a very cute, well decorated and spacious 1 bedroom apartment with very welcoming touches such as a nice wine, cookies and fresh orange juice on arrival. Also the inspirational art work!! Some people are so clever. It was well set up for a couple like us who like to mix a bit of home cooking with eating out. We could not fault the way the apartment was set up, access was simple, and it was located close to the dynamic square about 100m away. Comfy bed, great shower. Despite it being on a narrow semi-busy lane we had no problems unloading/loading luggage from our car when we arrived and left. It was also easy to find free parking just outside the old town walls less than 10 mins walk away.

Great there was a dehumidifier to deal with the dampness

The apartment was well stocked and creative. The place is on a busy skinny cobbled street with loud scooters running by all night. A main square is right up the street so is convenient. We did have good luck finding acceptable food.

It was one of the best equipped bnbs we've ever stayed in. Superbly clean and everything you need, and really well located.

Only small downside was the street was noisy at night- but if you're out no problem! And the bedroom was noise proof so it really didn't matter
