St Benedict - Victorian Bed and Breakfast

What a stunning place! From the outside of the villa to the garden and the extraordinary interior it is as near an authentic victorian experience I could imagine. The owners were warm and welcoming, the food was delicious and the whole stay was excellent value for money.

St Benedict’s is a magical place, as soon as you arrive at the property you are transported back in time. The property is in a convenient location, it’s just a ten minute walk away from the seafront, shops and restaurants. Every single aspect of the property is Victorian, I highly recommend staying here!

Nothing, everything was perfect.

Wonderful staff - even though they were busy, we weren't negatively impacted and we were well looked after. Beds - the best I've ever slept in. Perfect balance of firmness and comfort. Décor - I loved the Victorian aesthetic., made me felt like I stepped back time, with no unnecessary distractions. Bonus - Lovely fellow guests to engage with.

No complaints.

Wonderful place, wonderful hosts. Also Hastings is a little gem, we had the nicest time there.

La casa è un viaggio nell'era vittoriana, con l'aggiunta di numerosi ed interessanti cimeli religiosi. La stanza, benché rigorosamente antiquata, era confortevole. Buona la colazione, servita in una stanza riccamente ornata e scaldata da un caminetto . Anche il giardino merita una visita.

Benché il rigore storico voglia così, la vasca da bagno senza flessibile e soffione per la doccia e con le sole manopole separate certamente non è una comodità.
