Coastal Joy was an amazing place to stay for a relaxing weekend away. Gary was an excellent host and made us feel welcome. Rooms were clean and came with milk in the fridge as well as teas and coffee. Anything we could have forgotten to bring coastal joy had, soap, toothbrushes tooth paste, all little things I havent seen in stays at places similar which add an even more thoughtful touch to your stay. Coastal Joy was based right in the town centre and we enjoyed staying in such a lovely little seaside town! Would definitely return!!

We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay! The fridge & tea/coffee facilities were perfect. They even had extra crockery, snacks and a microwave on the top floor. I felt every detail had been taken care of and it’s the little things that go along way!

The small double, is a small double but it states that clearly and did not spoil our stay. The hot tub facility was amazing! We all thoroughly enjoyed it. We would have preferred some privacy while getting out of the hot tub and our robes on. But understood the hot tub must need quite urgent attention when guests are getting out.

Excellent venue nothing was too much for the owners or their son who helped out too. Immaculate homely rooms and will be back again.

Rooms were lovely, fresh in decor and very clean. Beds were so comfy, we slept well! Added touches didn't go unmissed, bowl of sweets, toiletries, milk and water in the fridge, refreshment choices - above and beyond. Perfect location for beach, restaurants and town. Gary and Dee extremely helpful not only with hosting but with ideas and knowledge of things to do and explore, so if you're stuck for ideas, just ask. We booked the hot tub for an hour of chilling too.

Nothing to not like. The road is busy but shut the windows if it's a bother.

Central location, beds were comfortable. Tea/coffee/fresh milk/snacks & kettle in rooms along with a decent sized fridge. Also communal access to microwave, crockery & cutlery. Hosts v friendly with good communication. Café Needles Eye is recommended, 15-20 mins walk away along the promenade.

Not much going on in the town, although there is a good Co-op store. We tried to do the Art trail but evidently it was abandoned a while ago. The southern end of bay is quieter & prettier with rock pools to explore.
