Where do I even begin? No. 4 Hawthorn View Ground Floor Apartment in York exceeded every expectation we had, and then some. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this was something special. The apartment itself is simply stunning. Beautifully presented, immaculately clean, and thoughtfully designed throughout. It felt like a home away from home from the very first minute. The kind of place you walk into and immediately feel completely at ease. The location is just perfect. A bus stop right on the doorstep, shops and cafes within easy walking distance, and the city centre itself totally accessible on foot. Yet the area feels calm, safe, and relaxed. We genuinely could not have asked for a better base to explore everything York has to offer. But what really sets this apartment apart are the hosts. Warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive without ever being intrusive. They clearly put their guests first in every possible way. The welcome book they provide is an absolute gem: packed with useful local information, insider recommendations, and everything you need to hit the ground running. It's the kind of thoughtful touch that makes a real difference and shows just how much care goes into every stay. If you're visiting York and looking for somewhere to stay, stop searching. Easy access to and from rail station and a short walk into the city centre. Very tidy apartment and the hosts were in touch with positive updates.

The apartment was modern, clean, comfortable and everything that you could possibly need. 4 adults thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we would definitely recommend to friends and family and we will stay again.
