Pool heating can be provided and should be requested at least one week in advance. Should it be requested after arrival at the villa, the minimum charge applicable is one week, which is payable from the time the heating is turned on. Pool heating is optional and costs EUR 120 per week for a setting of 24ºC, paid in cash on arrival. A supplement of EUR 30 per week applies for each additional degree up to a maximum of 26ºC.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. "Highly recommend this accommodation. It was perfect for our stay in Madeira"

This house is in a stunning location but definitely requires a car, as it is uphill from the nearest village. It was well equipped with a pool and sun loungers…..as well as a very friendly wee cat! Parking was very tight!

Our only complaint was that there was a dog nearby who barked all night every night

Everything was excellent! There was plenty of space and the house was very well equipped. We spent a lot of time at the pool because the weather was hot. I hope to be back someday!

"Good house and would be excellent with a few improvements."

Great hosts and a next door caretaker. Lovely homely house. lovely view. Great warm pool. Tight entrance to driveway but easy road parking.

No aircon or ceiling fan in the living area, very hot. No fly screens on any windows and as it is in the middle of irrigated banana fields, the mosquitos were a problem and ate us. No room for any of our food in the kitchen and an ant problem, they need wall cupboards. Sun film on the patio doors peeling and huge 'Grace House' stickers on the glass spoiling the view. A nice 20 minute walk downhill to the waterfront area but a very steep climb on the road back with no pavement and scary cars.
