The location is convenient for travelers visiting Arthur’s Pass. The host was very communicative and altesponded quickly.

THe house does not truly have three separate bedrooms as advertised. There is one proper bedroom, and another sleeping area in the loft, which may be difficult for an adult to sleep in comfortably. In addition, there is a bunk bed located in the living room. The level of cleanliness was also not very good.

While a basic property and a bit quirky, it was super warm and cozy and very well equipped with an up to date kitchen and appliances. We especially loved the espresso machine! We spent most of our time indoors because of bad weather but we were very comfortable. No issues with train or traffic noises at all.

Great to have your own space with a good kitchen.

The property was as described by the owner. A spacious, comfortable old cottage with everything you need for a pleasant stay. The train line is very close but really not loud enough to he a bother.
