Riverside Bungalow - direct river access!

Not applicable as was a bungalow. We chose location for a 6-Day orienteering competition. Very close to supermarket to buy food. Sufficient equipment in the kitchen for cooking. Good WiFi connection.

Bungalow was scruffy and in need of repair (for example, chipped paint) as was the garden. Other places of the same price have been considerably better. A washing line would have been helpful. Some operating instructions for the TV system would have been useful as would guidance on how to turn on the hot water system.

The property was small , not clean it had cobwebs and mould in the corner , it smelt musty and didn’t feel clean. The beds were uncomfortable and the hot water was lukewarm for 5 minutes or so. We decided to book somewhere else last minute and left.

Bathroom was clean and bedding was clean.

Unable to watch live tv. Not very clean. Property not as described. Decor very tired needs refreshing. Garden needed cutting especially overhanging bushes. No welcome book with details about hot water, different bins and general information. Host hung up while talking on phone.

Good facilities and quiet location. Comfortable furnishings.

Very little workspace to prepare food.

Bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was clean.

The floor in the kitchen and bedroom doorway was dangerous and moved up and down in several places as we walked on it. We couldn’t get the TV to receive live broadcasts, nor could we access any wifi. We also felt the kitchen could do with an overhaul. We had paid for a two night stay but left after one. For just £8 more we stayed in a much nicer first floor apartment overlooking the cathedral in St Davids.

The location and comfy bed

Very tired property, in need of a good refurbishment Floors looked to be collapsing and floor boards gone in places. Wouldn't be suitable for balance issues. Front bedroom needs blackout curtains as street light /sunlight all through the night.

Perfect place to stay for us. It had everything we needed. Fully accessible for my disabled partner. The garden was safe and secure for my two dogs. The bed was extremely comfy, we slept soundly. We only stayed two nights but would have been happy to stay longer. The river at the end of the garden was outstanding, so were the views. The bungalow could do with a little touch up here and there. But for the money, it was well worth it. Sadly it was very wet weather and very hard to keep dirty paws clean. We did try to clean up paw marks but in that weather it was a loosing battle. as the back garden was muddy because of the rain. As quick as we washed the floor it became muddy again. But that couldn't be helped. We loved it there.

Nothing, we loved it all. It was perfect for our needs.
